Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for beginner level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the house, not like the majority of other poker games that players bet with other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players do not have to be concerned about any other, more skillful people winning their mulla.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, beginners can take their time and scheme without having to make hasty decisions.
It’s also easier to gamble on for a long time with only a tiny amount of cash since, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
