Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in an awesome game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the casino, unlike most other poker games that gamblers play with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players do not have to be concerned about other, more advanced gamblers taking their mulla.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies will be able to take their time and plan while not needing to make frenzied decisions.
It is also easier to wager on for a very long time with just a little amount of cash since, to lose, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the dealer gets seven cards face down.
A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
