Web poker has become world famous as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several types on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer saying "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the other players attain 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to either make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s value is on same level to your beginning wager, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the bet is the face off. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The bank pony’s up chips even with your wager and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
