Online poker has become world famous lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the dealer saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the other gamblers acquire 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call wager or give up. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes instantly to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, including an amount on par with the initial bet. If the house does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays chips equal to your ante and fixed expectations on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
